Are you nervous before tests? Do you find your mind goes blank, even when you are well prepared? If so, this is the workshop for you. Come learn about test anxiety and strategies that you can use to decrease test anxiety and ace those tests.
Having trouble studying for that midterm? Not sure how to organize and prepare for finals in a few weeks? Come to this workshop to help yourself get organized for that big exam! Topics covered include: learning styles, study strategies for specific learning styles, and tips for test taking.
Social Media is a powerful tool, learn how and why you can set the right tone on your social media. Employers, and universities are checking your pages, can they find you? And will they be impressed with what they see?

hour presentation followed by a Q&A. This is a great opportunity to have

Virginia (and six other states) has partnered with the SANS Institute (The nation’s
premier cyber training organization) to offer a FREE Cyber Challenge
(CyberStart) to students age 16 and older.
This is the first time that
CyberStart has been deployed in the U.S. and will likely be the ONLY time SANS
will make it available at no cost to participants.
The Cyberstart is an online
challenge that can be done from “anywhere” in the Commonwealth.
There is NO age cap…anyone 16 years or older and enrolled in a
Virginia High School, Community College or University can participate at NO
COST – NO Cyber or IT experience is required!
This is a PHENOMENAL opportunity
for students from all disciplines to test their cyber acumen and
potentially (based on final scoring) be awarded monetary scholarships provided
by the SANS Institute.
